Vista del lago is a quiet and safe neighborhood. Building at apt complex at the front and center of the community will jeopardize that. Apt residents will have visitors taking up our parking spots, have access to our trails and our home fronts at all hours of the day. The increased foot traffic will raise safety and security concerns. Our home values will decrease because people will think twice about living next to a low income housing community. We strongly oppose this development.

I am writing to express my strong objection to the proposed apartment development next to VistaDel Lago. As a owner of the house in this community, I believe that this development will have a significant negative impact on our quality of life and the character of our neighborhood. It will cause increased traffic and congestion, and strain our local resources. Please reconsider for the well-being of current residents. This is not we anticipated when we purchased this home.

We object to the apartment development. My husband and I bought this property thinking that we are investing in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The infrastructure to support the apartment development is not present at this neighborhood. Palladium will benefit tax incentives at the cost of our safety and welfare. If we find the city ignores the voices of opposition from this community, we gladly make arrangements to leave and take our tax dollars to a city that will respect its residents.

I couldn't more strongly oppose this proposed action. There are many residents who purchased their property at Vista Del Lago under the premise of a safe, quiet neighborhood. A multifamily apartment complex like this would vastly increase our already limited inlets, take up our limited guest parking, and decrease our property values.

We strongly believe that this project will not only degrade the value of our home but will also negatively impact the quality of life of current residents at Vista Del Lago Townhomes:
    • Intrusion and Access to privacy by a larger batch of people ranging from a high number of residents to visitors, and others.
    • Multifamily units are inherently more complicated and are prone to more strange occurrences, noise, events, and parties.

We strongly object to the rezoning and development of a multifamily apartment complex in front of the Vista Del Lago community. We specifically sought out a single family development for our first home so that we could enjoy a quieter and safer neighborhood. We will be forced to share ingress/egress points with this new apartment that will provide nothing to our community in return other than more traffic, noise, and reduced home values while Palladium and Riva seeks tax credits.
