We oppose construction of a multi-story commerical structure on this parcel. The original planned use was for single story garden style office/retail structures. This proposed change is inappropriate use due to diminished property values to nearby homes, loss of privacy, noise and increased traffic on Parker Rd where speed, congestion and sight lines are always a concern. Bad idea to change Ordinance 0428-22-ZON.
We oppose this zoning change. It will negatively impact our property, privacy, and neighborhood aesthetics. Please consider too the safety issues of having the entrance just below the crest of the hill to the west. The size and location of this site make it unsuitable for any type of construction project. Please deny this zoning change.
We oppose the zoning change for the same reasons sited by our neighbors. In addition, there is a history of unstable soil in close proximity. The area of Hundred Knights homes 2820, 2816, 2812, and 2808 had major landslides in 2007, 2015, and 2020. A properly engineered fix was implemented in 2020. If a slide occurred on the subject lot it could impact buildings and the active rail line which is less than 100 ft away. Approving a 5 story building does not seem like a good idea.
Opposed, for all the reasons already stated by others, privacy concerns, property values negatively impacted, increased traffic on Parker Road, safety issues with traffic entering and exiting at the top of the hill, etc. Please do not approve this bad proposal! Thank you!

We live directly behind this proposed multi family facility and hope to keep this section of Parker rd free of big construction. It will have a negative impact on our property values and sight lines and views will be compromised. Not to mention the traffic and high speeds cars already drive on Parker Rd behind our home.
I am not in favor of any development of this property, which appears to be directly behind my residence on Hundred Knights Drive in the Reserve Section of Castle Hills. I believe the development of this land, especially a multistory apartment building would negatively impact my property value and that of my neighbors as well as take away from the aesthetics and view from our residences. It was this privacy in back of me that drew me to live here in the first place. Please deny the proposal.
