2. 26-4760 Approval of Change Order #2 for King Arthur Boulevard Traffic Calming Project in the Amount of $85,888 and Authorization for the City Manager, or Her Designee, to Execute the Change Order.
I’m all in favor of removing concrete bike lane barriers and returning the right turn lane onto Old Denton from King Arthur as soon as possible. I would the city council to not make a final vote on the rest of change order #2 tonight. If the concrete barriers installed on King Arthur cannot be dramatically reduced in size and tapered - I’d like to see them removed. My family has lived in Castle Hills for 20 years and we value the master planned aesthetics of this neighborhood.
